Dr. Randy Hock has always enjoyed science; finding answers and solving problems make him happy. “I became a doctor because of my love of science, and my desire to help people,” Dr. Hock said. “I knew fairly early that I wanted to work with chidlren, and I decided that pediatric hematology and oncology provided a nice blend of helping people and using the very latest in science and technology.”
Dr. Hock has now been practicing medicine for more than three decades. He still loves helping patients with cancers or blood disorders, and has found a home here at Presbyterian Blume Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic.
Outside the office, Dr. Hock enjoys spending time with his wife, as well as his son and daughter. “Together we enjoy fly fishing and sailing,” he said. “They are much better sailors than I am, but I am still able to outfish them!”
